The room was extremely spacious, had a work desk, coffee/tea makers, and television. It overlooked inner courtyard. Great location - just a walk down to everywhere we needed. We didn't want to say goodbye and would love to go back...

We had a wonderful stay at Academy Pension. the staff was friendly and professional, providing us with useful information about the city and public transport. the rooms were clean and beautifully furnished with old furniture, giving the place a magical atmosphere. the location was perfect, in a quiet area with stunning viewpoints of the city, yet still close to the main train station. We also appreciated the delicious breakfast and the fact that they accommodated our request for separate rooms with two toilets.

The receptionist had poor English skills and seemed inexperienced, which affected the overall professionalism of the hotel. The room, while nicely decorated, had some cleanliness issues, with a dirty bathroom and windows covered in mold.

I recently stayed at Academy Pension for a few nights while exploring the Buda district. The location was excellent, right in the heart of the castle district and within walking distance of major attractions like Buda Castle, Fisherman's Bastion, and St Matthias Church. The staff, including Susan, Shanni, Beata & Istvan, were incredibly kind, friendly. The room was just what I needed and the atmosphere of the hotel was cozy and relaxing. The beds were comfortable and the breakfast offered a good selection. I felt safe in the area and would definitely choose to stay here again if I return to Budapest.

Wow! The location was mind-blowing, right in the middle of the castle district with jaw-dropping views. The rooms were super clean and the staff were incredibly kind, friendly, and helpful. Loved the free chocolates too!
